In his stream yesterday Nasomi said that sharing accounts is not a bannable offense. Doesn't that effectively eliminate the 3 character limit? Particularly if accounts are shared with me by players that rarely or never play? I've completely avoided any sort of account sharing so far, but if sharing effectively allows me to play several more characters... Has anyone received more clear guidance on this issue from Nasomi? |

You can't play more than 2 in the field at a time anyway, so this would really only benefit crafters and that's assuming we're interpreting his spoken comments correctly. I would want written clarification before risking all of accounts just to have an extra crafting mule. |

Just off the top of my head it would allow people to fill needed holes in the line-up (no tank on at 4 am? no problem! use the shared account), it would allow people to log in friends to lot rare/ex items, and it would allow characters to leave TOD mules logged out and check TODs without sacrificing a main character. |

I'm sure plenty of us have wives or girlfriends or family members or even just close friends (many of which play or would play much less than us...) that we would trust completely. |

That's cool, but some people share their account with people they've never met on the Internet and I would not do that, that's begging to be swallowed in RMT troubles. |

It doesnt matter. The odds of you getting jailed for someone else fucking around, when a couple of your friends that no longer play left their 4 accounts to you, is very low. And if they leveled 100 crafters, you might just have every market now covered. You might just be able to bring any type of job to the fight across your 6 characters, as long as you only ever have 2 in the field. It caused a whole world of problems before nas outlawed it and instituted the 3 character limit bound to forum accounts. Which again, is made completely pointless by what he said in stream yesterday. |

It sounds very problematic and I hope people are misconstruing what they heard on the stream and Nas doesn't actually mean that. |

Just to be clear, never ever do this.. No matter the grey area or the benefits, it just isn't worth it. I lost my thousands of hours played main because the one guy that i lent my guy to decided to fk me. RIP me, dont be like me. Less of a personal view but he did say one person is only allowed one forum account, which allows 3 characters only. Logging a character in that doesn't belong to your forum account will get you banned should said character or any character linked to that character be banned, whether you did anything or not. |
