Post subject:  Question about the dualbox rule

I read the tules on the wiki and saw that controlling two characters at once is never allowed, which makes sense, but also that the delivery box is disabled and trades must be done face to face. What is the preferred method to getting items from a main to a mule? Can I trade my items to my gf's character on her computer, then re-log and trade them to myself?

I also had a question about the one HELMF er household rule, and was hoping for clarification. If her and I play at different times, can we each gather on our own accounts (so only one of us would be gathering at any given time), or do we need to designate 1 gatherer *account* per household? Its probably a silly question, but I really don't want to accidentally break rules and get us both booted.

Thanks!

Nas just writes the rules like my 6 year old writes his homework.

The rule you're referring to is that you can't control two characters with one command. If you press 8 on your numpad, two characters can't walk forward. You have to alt tab back and forth to control both.

As for your second question, it's one account at a time. You can both do it at different times.

That is much clearer, and will make helping each other out quite a bit easier. Thanks for the clarifications!

Yep, that rules page is a little too ambiguous and is in need of revision.

At least the rules page isn't like Nas's patch notes!

Otherwise it would be like, "Certain ways of dualboxing are not allowed".

On a more serious note though, the first tip I give to anyone trying to start on this server, is to dualbox as soon as possible, even if it's just getting WHM to 25 and just fishing/mining on your alt. The will progress exponentially faster than on a single account. It just takes a little patient to get used to controlling 2 accounts at the same with with SwitchMon. The brain needs to adjust to that kind of control, but after a few weeks / months, you can swap pretty effortlessly.

I actually started on Nasomi using controller for 3 weeks. Then I tried out controller and it just felt so much better for me. Especially since I played with controller back in retail haahah WePlebs :geek:  :P

Is someone able to change the rule @ the rules page? Word it differently? A lot of miscommunications happened because of the wording.
Someone write that in their Q & A :D
