Post subject:	DDoS protection and idle times
This is something on my end, but I suspect that everyone is seeing this, too. Nas has all of his ffxi services behind a DDoS protection service, and that protection goes down after a check is performed. That protection goes back up after a certain period of idling/inactivity. Does anyone know how long the time-out is on idling? I'm losing forum responses because I'm kicked back to the DDoS check screen, and I would like to know when that screen is expected to show back up.

When you say you lose forum response, do you mean that when you click on submit -> the check performs and your response is gone? If that happens you can simply click on last page on your browser. That should redirect you to the previous page with your written response still in the textbox

If it’s a long response I type it into notepad first. Habit from other sites. Then hit reply and paste it in.

I've had success just hitting the back button when I see the DDoS page come up. Copy the text, reload the page, and submit.
