Post subject:  For the love of Altana
Please stop undercutting gold/mythril/platinum coins/ingots! t is a vicious cycle that never ends because you want your stuff to sell asap. These items have been cut down by e than 50k per stack (gold/plat ingots more notably). These items WILL sell for much higher if you just show some patience and not tank the market because you have no patience and want it now.

If you think they're currently undervalued, buy up a lot of stock and try to reset the price at what you think is a more fair market value.

This requires seed money I have not had an opportunity to accumulate yet. I have tried this for lesser valued items and wound up losing money. But I understand the point

I'm not sure you're aware how markets work. Folks aren't interested in long terms profits, they're interested in short term gains.

I just don't know why folks do not want to maximize their gil/hour. People are shooting themselves in the pocket for upwards of 80k a stack (platinum) and 60-70k a stack (gold). While these items are still a good farm for the time, it could be much better.

Maybe flooding the market with low prices will encourage others to leave the market thus maximizing their gil/hour in the long run.

That means that the items that you thought were undervalued.... were actually still overvalued. That could be the case here, too.
