Pretty much as titled. I use the filters to tell if something has worn off of the monsters. I know about the split windows, but even with that, the chat just moves so fast, I can barely even read if certain things land or wear off of the monsters. Is there a specific reason as to why the chat filters don't stay? |

Last I heard (from Nasomi during his last stream): Yes, you have to actually Logout propery instead of just closing the client window and disconnecting. Though, personally idc about chat filters, I just shut down the client window every time. |

Don't they just reset every time you zone or did he fix that? |

I was wondering this the other day. Are there maybe some files I can just delete to make them no longer appear in the chat logs? |

That's what I do when I log off, and every time they just reset. |

He said the window filters are persistent. I take that to mean the filters that are available under Config->Log->Window(1, 2). Haven't messed with this though. |

That's what Nasomi said, probably just another thing in the list of inconsistent/incorrect information. I gave up a long time ago. Maybe there's something you can change in your files under the game folders that will always toggle chat filters off. Not sure, I just gave up. |

If someone has a way for working chat filters(without resetting every time I zone/log), I'll pay you 1M gil. |

I log out "properly" every time and mine reset. |
