Post subject:  Rare items restrictions?

I just had a question which I couldn't find an answer for on a quick search. Are rare item drops restricted to one per account if item is in any of your inventories? I had a rare item drop and ran into the NM again next day, while i had the rare drop in my mog house due to leveling different job, and it dropped again. But I was shown the message that I don't meet necessary requirements even though I didn't have the item in my main inventory. Just curious so I don't put efforts in the future to farm something if I won't be able to acquire it if I already have one in any inventory.

Rare items can only be obtained once. If you have it in any part of your mog house it counts as inventory.

Alternatively, you CAN put items up in the Auction house and then get another.

If you're trying to gather many of them for some reason, then just list it on the AH for significantly higher than the normal price so it doesnt sell, and it'll sit there for 30 days before being sent to your mog house delivery box.

However, I cannot confirm nor deny if once in your delivery box it will count as being in your possession/inventory. I've never tried to farm a rare with one already in my delivery box.

Delivery box is safe. I had dispel returned from failed AH and was able to lot on another out in the field.
