So a LS mate and I wanted to get capes from the Drk and Mnk IxAerns and I was wondering if anyone had any details they could share. We cleared the room for the Drk and examined the ??? But it didn't pop, any information on how it works? Should we just go clear another room and check the ??? again? We also popped one Mnk using a single HQ organ and deed dropped. Do the drop rates indeed increase if you trade 2 or 3 like retail? Also if trading 2-3 do adds pop? Was just curious if the best approach is trading singles rather than 2-3. Anyone that has information to aid us on this would be greatly appreciated! Thanks. |

For Drk you have to kill the aerns until you get a message which those who dealth the death blow might get. The one that gets the message will pop drk when they touch the ???. Party can double check after every clear by having those who killed touch the ???. It's very random, could get it to pop quickly or a few hours. For Mnk, trading more will increase your chances for drop, but will also spawn adds. |

So on drk just keep clearing rooms til you get the message or kill any in the zone? Nasomi things.. wasn't sure if it worked the same but I'm surprised to hear that it does. |

There has been a couple times I haven't gotten the message and still popped so it's always a good idea to check it after you clear the room regardless. Good luck! |

Same as Nazgul here - it's always best to have -everyone- check between each room clear.. I've popped them myself after not getting the message or even getting a killshot on any of them. |

How confirmed is that Lyle? I've killed Ix'mnk an upwards of 50 times with all sorts of combos and havent seen that cape. |

I went 1/30 on it when trading 1 at a time for my first cape over a year ago, and in the last 4-5 months we traded 3 at a time, and we went like 6/15. I'd suggest trading 3 since I am now bias. |

TH does not affect these, they have a set percentage to drop either the deed or vice (the cape). Occasionally they can glitch and drop both. Ix'MNK is a bit different depending on the number of organs used to pop. 1 organ = no adds and 33% chance it will drop an item. If it does, then the drop ratios factor in ( Its like 17% cape, 83% deed iirc.) 2 organs get you one add and a 66% it will drop an item, at which point the above ratio again factors in. 3 organs give you two adds and guarantee you it will drop one item or the other. Or both if you get a lucky glitch. Hope that helps! |

Drk is easily the biggest pain in the ass of the three to get to pop. I have killed the aerns in the rooms with ??? for hours without getting the message. It is always worth clicking the ??? to be sure you didn't get it. It will also indicate whether SOMEONE has it even if it isn't you. I have heard trading 1 or 3 organs to mnk doesnt make a difference but I've heard nothing but complaints of 0/30 etc when trading one and I've had outstanding luck when trading three. I don't believe treasure hunter matters for mnk or for drg. Drk, in my experience, is a different story. I have many times seen it drop both and a handful of times I have seen it drop nothing. So I believe treasure hunter is a factor on Drk only. I have never seen both drop or no drop on mnk or on drg ever and I have easily done them 50+ times each. |
