I've noticed a couple closed topics on fishing, but I'm still seeing the bug. My character freezes and menu options do nothing. I can move the camera around and that's it. The only way to get back working again is to force close the game. |

I’ve noticed this happens whenever you cancel and lose a Lure, or it has happened when I have lost to catch when it is not a monster. I just hit 82 and I just try to avoid the situations. I will admit they are annoying, but you can work around them. Good luck. |

Don't cancel fishing, and just wait out mobs if you can't one shot them. It's a pain, but just can't afk fish any more. |

And: Don't let fish bites time out. Don't reel in anything that isn't at 0% first. |
