cannot equip brass mittens

Post subject:  cannot equip brass mittens
After I typed /equip Hands, it removed default equipment on Hands but /equip Hands "Brass Mittens" resulted in "you were unable to change your equipped items"

Did I use wrong command?

Check the inventory name for abbeviation, could be "Brs. Mittens"

thanks, apparently I am still below required level. Wasted about 3k on brass equipments :(
