Hello. So I've been having an issue since I started this game where my game crashes whenever I alt-tab. Now it's not every single time, but it always eventually crashes. It doesn't matter if it's a single client alt-tabbing between that and chrome or alt-tabbing between two clients. I'm running an alienware 15 r3 w/ a gtx 1070 (not sure if relevant) and windows 10. Things I've tried: Disabling UAC/screen dimming Running as administrator Reinstalling the game numerous times Reinstalling windows Graphics drivers are up-to-date Windows updates up-to-date I'm ran bordless/windowed mode, do not have fullscreen checked in ashita or ffxiconfig (changes saved as admin) I'm not running any overlay programs, broadcasting software, OBS, discord, shadowplay, anything like that. I know there's multiple threads on this issue but none of the things suggested in any of them worked for me. Short of uninstall windows 10 and installing windows 8 (would this even fix it?) I'm all out of ideas. If anyone has any tips or things that may help I would really appreciate it. I'm at my wits end spending half my nights crashing and trying to fix it. Thank you in advance! |

check vcard drivers, I know it sounds simple but that fixed my alt-tabing problems. I know its a long shot, but it worked for me since mine werent up to date, hope it works for you. |
