Was wanting to check here, see if others are experiencing this - or know of a work around - before I officially submit a bug report ...
Within the last week, after reading the different combos for flowerpots and seeds, decided to try Gardening as I had received a bunch of seeds as drops. To start, got an Earthen Flowerpot, and placed it on floor in MH just outside of the rug area. It is placed ok - FFXI wiki states it can be placed on floor and/or furnishings. Next, via the Gardening option, I attempted to plant seeds, however it won't plant them no matter what I do. I have tried 3 different kinds of seeds (herb, grain, vegetable) - after I plant, then examine, it tells me there is nothing in the pot. I even tried zoning out of MH and zoning back in between the planting and examining - still nothing. I bought a Tarutaru stool to put the flowerpot on it - it won't let me place it (someone suggested maybe putting the pot on something to see if that helps).
I am at a complete loss. I did Gardening for YEARS on retail so I know how it works; overall its a pretty straight forward process. I see that seeds are selling on the AH so am assuming (?) that gardening is working.
Is this a glitch I am needing to report? I checked the list of known bugs *and* NasWIKI - nothing about gardening is listed. Also, to clarify, this is the "regular" gardening, not the Mog Garden.
Any helpful suggestions/insight would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
