In retail FFXI I can place 7 items on the AH, after which I receive an error message that prevents me from listing more. Here on Nasomi I am able to keep listing items past 7, but they do not show up in my Sales Status. Are they still listed for sale or are these items lost forever?

They are listed you can check them on your account page - website
