So this happened to me like just now, and I'm posting this so people will be careful and not make the same mistake. I clicked ashita to login, and picked up my wireless keyboard, next thing I know the ffxi window pops up to accept or decline the ToS. Naturally I was like "what the fuck?", but I curiously decided to proceed. Then the title screen loads and again I was like "what the fuck?". So determined to see what has happened I click "select character" then the character screen loads. So I'm staring at some taru in the halloween cloak, level 30~ somethin white mage, location "Mordion", suprised I quickly cancelled back out like "erm fuck this". Now the thing that hase worried is I know that I obviously banged some random keys while getting my keyboard, to be just numbers cause that's all I grabbed ( and ofc the enter button on numpad), but I know that accounts are linked through IPs so I figure now my IP is linkd with some random account that has only numbers for username and password, and whatever they do, I could get punished for.... Which fkn sucks.... Anyways so I tried to submit a ticket, says username and password don't match, when using my forum account info, so.... Anyone guide me in the right direction here? Oh and as a PSA don't push random shit or you may get logged into some random hackosaurus rex.... Still workin on locking myself down just incase some sideways shit happens.... True story, happened just now at like 12:58 am central time, 11-3-19

What was the characters name that was in mordion?

Some how you typed in random numbers into the account/pass and it logged you into someones account? o.o...

If you didnt actually try and log in past the character select, then this just sounds like the 7 year old bug where you can log into someone else's character select if youre on lan or live close by them and they just tried to log in. You cant actually make it past character select, feel like youre an old enough character to know what im talking about, but I can try and explain it further if not. It's never caused anyone actual problems afaik.
