Hello,
I was in game on my main, Kulgan. On the other PC I was happily creating an account for my wife, as she agreed to start playing this with me. When she created her character, it got stuck in Downloading Data. We tried relaunching the whole thing to no avail, so we ended up deleting said character. Fast forward a few minutes, we manage to log her in. I teach her the controls etc, and tell her "move over to that bridge, you'll see Kulgan soon". I switched to my PC and found this:

I can move, I can open menus, edit macros, etc. The only thing I can't do is zone. I can also talk in LS, but instead of my name it shows "<>" talking.

It seems something went wrong when deleting the wife's main, as it seems it tried to delete my own char. On the website it also says I have no char under this account anymore.

Any ideas?

Besides logging out and back in to see if maybe it was a traffic issue with the two computers and router, you might wanna contact nasomi. If your char is deleted, he might need to restore it.
**edit I just searched you in game and your name comes up ok

Yes, it got fixed within a few minutes. I spammed Nas on every possible channel too, I dunno if that did anything or if the issue solved itself. At one point my client crashed for no reason, and then everything came back on.

Since the incident, I haven't been able to search on specific zones I haven't been to after it happened. Like, for example, I was stoked bubu was empty and rallied my troops, only to find out about this bug. I've tested 10+ zones and it's the same everywhere, but I can for example search in Bastok Mines, where I've been since the issue happened. If anyone knows if there's a way to fix this, it'd be great... else I guess I'm going on an adventure? >_>

Dude never... delete a character... when you arr logged in on another character.. Never!

Lesson learned indeed lol. I figured since this was done on 2 different computers it would be okay.

There's a delete char option on the website that's probably safer.
