This has happened 2-3 times now. Everything will be fine the night before, then i goto log on the next day and my config, macros, ect. is reset. Wouldn't be that much of an issue except that the addons refuse to work anymore as well.
I've been uninstalling and re-installing, which seems to work...
But is there a better way?

Did you logout or just force close the game? Usually if you force close the client, your macros and settings don't get saved locally.

For addons/plugins what error are you getting when you try loading them? You're also making sure you do the "/addon load fps" And you're making sure the plugin "/load addons" is loaded?

I normally just force close the client, never gives me any issues. Last night, I know for a fact that I did /shutdown

Fps has never given me problems before, that was the first i loaded up today and it gave me a string of neverending red text. Next time, ill write it down.

The problem is clearly a corruption data no idea why it happens tho - your macros and stuff get stored into the User folder ( i suggest u make a copy of that folder so if it happens u just replace the corrupted 1 with the backup you made ) about the addons im not really sure but you can do the same operation , copy the addon / plugin folder somewhere on your pc and if they stop work for any reasons just replace them
