I am a returning player. I kinda am not feeling my old character so I wanted to make a new one. Just to get a more serious name and race. My idea was to put my old character on follow and tab over to heal my new character while grinding. In my mind this is what multiboxing is. I get confused reading the rules. Is alt tabbing to heal yourself out of party considered playing two characters at once? If so can I just leave my character parked at a spot and use him to tab over and use him as a stationary gas station for my hp bar. The way I read the rules it sounds like as long as you are alt tabbing to control your characters it okay? I might be overthinking this. I just want to know for sure what is allowed. If you have any examples of what you do that is allowed let me know. Thanks in advanced for any insite. |

It's totally fine to do that. As long as you're manually controlling your characters, you won't get in trouble. Many people level a low character, and power level them with another character, such as you're thinking of doing. Probably a word of warning. If you do Harvesting, Excavating, Logging, Mining Guide (HELM) on two characters at the same time, that'll get you in trouble. So, when you do HELM stuff, only use one character. |

Thanks, for the clarification. I got a lot of work ahead of me if I want this new character to be my new main and red mage following me around keeping the grind going will really help. |

Totally fine to do that , bind both characters to your account 1 listed as main 1 as alt ( they are the same so don’t worry if they are switched ) you can do everything with both at the same time except HELM |

The rule is kind of confusing. A while ago people use to set up a controller to control two windows at the same time and in that sense move two chars at the same time, do the same actions, ect. The rule is saying you cannot do this. But you CAN have two chars and even download switchmon to switch between them to play them separately as others have stated. |

hi I'm having trouble opening the main and the ALT at the same time on the pc on my notebook opened normal already on the pc do not want to open every time the main closes |

Its probably your PC popping up a box that says "Do you want to run boot.exe" or something, and when that opens it crashes your game. Its your PCs account settings. Have to turn that off or lower it a lot so it wont pop up when you open the program. |
