As the title says, the auction house is currently working backward from retail and selling newest additions first before things that have been waiting for longer. This can easily be tested by placing up the same (preferably dead sales wise) item on both your main and alt, then buying them, and observing which order they sell in. This can make it particularly frustrating when an item has hit a certain floor price that we don't want to undercut further, as it means those that have been the most patient lose out to others posting the same item at the same price, but later and actually punishes patience. I do understand and accept this might be by design, but just in case, I figured I'd make a post about it. If nothing else, if intentional, it'd be nice to have the reasoning it is this way explained to me. Thank you for your time. |
