i literally just tryed to make my Mule and everything works fine .. no idea what can cause it but there is no bug with character creation atm |

since it's a visual thing u may wanna try different resolutions to see if it works? |

I have the login through ashita setup identical to the one I use for my main. I can log into my main character just fine but I cant create new ones. Even on my main character I chose create character just to see what it does and it freezes on that screen as well, but it will log in just fine. |

i would like to help you but really i made my mule few days ago and everything went smooth... i also use the updated launcher ( just in case it might be a realted thing) but no clue :S |

I re-downloaded the whole game and tried to make a second character again and it didnt work. I did find out why though. In the FFXI-boot file there is a file you can put in there DLL something to help with the game. However, when I took that file out it allowed me to make a character. Once made I put the file back in and can still play. The only issue is I lost all my macros..............and I copy/pasted from old download to new one and it still didnt work. |

PasqualeOmega wrote: would be nice if you tell us what kind of file it is I did, it was the DLL files in the ffxi-boot file. There are two you can add to help with performance of game. d3d8.dll and another .dll. They were the culprits as far as I can tell. |
