Tried to connect to the server and then it timed out after having a black screen with "downloading data" or such. So I clicked the "shut down" button.
I then got returned to the main menu and I hit the character select button again and now I am looking at a character that isn't mine.
In boot.exe window I can see the following, as well:
Failed to locate main hairpin hack address!
Sending account id..
Sending account id..
Receiving character list..
Sending key..
- Of course I did not try and enter the game, since it's not my character.
Just thought I'd report it.
Edit:
Got timed out again with the FFXI-3001 error but at least it's my own character again when I try to log in though.
Still geting timed out while "downloading data" though.
