| Post subject: | Visual C++ Runtimes |
Hi all, Just seem to be stuck on the final step in the installation process that says to open the Visual C++ Runtimes folder and install all 4 files. I just can't seem to find any folder on my computer called Visual C++ Runtimes, and I tried downloading everything on the Nasomi site and extracting it. Any help would be much appreciated, thank you! |

it depends how up to date your windows is, i just needed this one. https://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/downloa ... x?id=48145 can check uninstall or change a programme in windows to see which ones you allready have. Thank you very much for your response. I have now got Ashita to run with no problems. However, it now says (regardless of which option I choose) that: 'Failed to obtain PlayOnline path from the system registry' I have been playing retail up until now using the EU client, I'm wondering if I need the US one? Many thanks in advance |

i couldnt get the server running on my eu steam version, i swear on ashita there used to be an option to switch between eu and us pol but doesnt seem to be on the latest version. I ended up downloading the whole us version directly off the ffxi website which then worked both for this server and my eu retail account. http://www.playonline.com/ff11us/downlo ... l_win.html Have you tried the new nas launcher that has appeared on the download page recently http://nasomi.com/download.php dont need ashita for that but cant use addons, hardly any are allowed anyway so it looks like nasomi is trying to encourage people off ashita for that reason! |
