As the title suggests, C++ 2015 isn't installing at all. I'm running Windows 7 Ultimate. Every time I run the install it just gives me an error saying an unspecified error. Error number is 0x80240017. I've searched up the error for a good few days and have yet to find a clue on how to fix it properly. People have suggested that I get the KB299226 update for the Windows but that isn't even installing on my computer and that's something that is needed in order to install C++ 2015. And whenever I try to go through the Ashita launcher, if it doesn't give me the error saying that I'm missing C++ 2015, it gives me an error saying it failed to inject into PlayOnline. Does anyone know how to fix this? I really want to be able to play and it's been almost a whole week. |

I don't know if this'll help at all but these are all the things I installed on a 7 machine to get myself up and running: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/u97no63v2eig ... bfnka?dl=0 If you don't trust there, you can find the versions on official websites with the files names here at least. At one point I think I even started with the 2008 distribution files(x86 and 64) and just installed as many of them from 2008 to 2015. For some reason installing/patching over has some coding left over that doesn't get installed in newer versions. But it's weird that 2015 won't install at all. |

Do you have at least SP1 installed for Windows 7? |
