Hello everyone!

Me and my wife both freshly installed the game today, wishing to explore the world of FF11 for the first time, but sadly, we're both encountering the same problem. as soon as we're loading up the game, we're welcomed with this error :

Some posts was talking about it being an error regarding character's names been taken, but we aren't even there yet so I'm a bit confused as to why this is happening. If more infos are required, i'd be pleased to oblige, until then, i'll be waiting for any ideas :)

I'm also experiencing this same issue. First time downloading FFXI, wanted to try it out, and the error seems to related to character names even though I haven't even created a character yet.

The issue is being looked into. when it is resolved you will be notified.

has anyone found anything new on this situation, maybe square did something thats causing this?

I highly doubt it given i could correctly connect to some other server. Let's just wait and see if they can resolve this, i really want to play in here and not there lol

hi hi,

im getting the same error when i try to log in to the game, and ends with the following error;



Error Code: FFXI3113
Protocol Time out Error
