First of all, I would like to say hello to everyone and I'm excited to relive FFXI. I'm having a few troubles, though, with the installation process and I couldn't find the answer using the search here on the forums. I currently have the steam version of the game, but the installation instructions are unclear on how to make the steam version work. Also, I tried the torrent provided by the installation page, but that has no seeders, sadly. Additionally, I noticed that the playonline website has the "FINAL FANTASY XI : Ultimate Collection Seekers Edition", but I'm unsure if that works and/or how to proceed with the installation steps if I were to download that. So if anyone has a solution to, or can help me with: A) Installing using the steam version of the game B) The seeding issue C) Whether or not the Seeker edition works and how to install using that if it does. |

I'd suggest not using your steam version, and simply following the installation guide step-by-step. Torrent does have seeders, chances are your network is blocking it (At school, maybe?) |

Okay well thanks for letting me know about the seeders, I'll see if I'm hecking something up there. I am at school, but I've been able to torrent other things so I probably just did something dumb. |
