Nasomi Community FFXI Server

The level 20 Summoner's Avatar Fights are doable on this server. This is how I obtain my Elemental Avatars. However; there is an issue with Summoner’s Magic Accuracy on this server. Please see the forum link provided for details. viewtopic.php?f=7&t=2777

10) Smn - Magic Bloodpact att/acc - Formula for offensive Magic bloodpacts need rebuilding as damage
from magic based boodpacts are severely weakened (including astral flows) as well as magic accuracy.
Status - Confirmed.
Work-Around - Until fix, focus on stacking as much summoning magic skill as possible.

To have the best chance at fighting the Avatar's you should have the following.

• Summoner's Skill Cap at lvl 20 should be capped at 63.
• Use the opposing elemental day to fight the avatar in a weaker state (ex. Ifrit on Water's Day) or fight it on Light's Day for a buff to carbuncle.
• Take Yag Drinks and Ethers (2 or more)
• Have Astral Flow at the ready. Searing Light will need to be used to maximize damage to the Elemental Avatar.
• Carbuncle Mitts can help with the fight, but it's not a requirement.
• Use the entire zone to fight the avatar. Running from top to bottom then back up again. This will help you avoid most damage taken.

The Level 20 fights are luck of the draw. You may get lucky and kill it on your first try, or it may take a couple of attempts to complete.

anyone else have a problem with the lvl 20 garuda fight? i've tried 3 times alrdy. Each time she seems to cast her healing move whispering wind for 300+ hp. pretty much benediction. I'm finding it hard to get her bc of time, and Mp.

Did you try using Yag drinks and multiple Searing Light (Astral Flow)?

Yes I did it exactly as the videos suggested and got like 3 off for about 200 damage each, but her whisper. Wind healed for 300 plus. Very discouraging after getting all that millicorn!!! >.<

I've tried a dozen times and have not been able to beat her. Different days, different items, different tactics- just can't do it... I guess you gotta kill her higher level version with a party

Yes I've done all of those things, prob is she heals so frequently and for so much... But I will try again. Maybe the fix to tp helped
