Below are current issues/bugs in game, sorted by category. Any experienced not listed post below along with any screenshots/information/confirmation to ensure is an actual issue/bug and not player error.

General Gameplay:
1) Auto-HP - Upon death, chance pc will homepoint automatically without timer. Higher chance of
occurring if player is in a middle of an action upon receiving dying.
Status - Troubleshooting in progress.
Current Work-Around - None.

2) Unable to See X - Occurs when a player is standing on a bugged spot that gives false position the
player is facing. These spots are common for all players that never change and are too small to
mark on map nor give location for others to watch for.
Status - Confirmed.
Current Work-Around - Due to their size and nature, best way to avoid these bugged spots is to
memorize their locations and make best effort not to stand on them.

3) X is Too Far - Occurs when a monster is standing on a bugged spot. Causes inaccurate position
reading on z location, preventing melee from auto-attacking at any direction.
Status - Confirmed.
Current Work-Around - Moving monster away from it's current position corrects this issue.

4) Repeated Rest Action - Occurs when a player tries to get up from resting using movement keys,
which has a greater chance of occuring when attempting to move in short time from resting. Result
is player will automatically use rest action 2-4 times before player resumes control of character.
Status - Confirmed.
Work-Around - wait a few seconds before trying to get back up after resting. Use commands like
attack or '/heal' to get back up before moving.

5) Linkshells do not show full list of online members.
Status - Confirmed.

6) Chat filters are lost once zoning into a new area or after logging.
Status - Confirmed.

7) Skills that are not capped will sometimes turn blue as if capped and will not receive further skillups.
Status - Confirmed.
Work-Around - Either zone or unequip/reequip a weapon.

8) Crafters are allowed to receive more than one crafting support from multiple guilds simultaneously.

9) Trading - Items traded are locked in place and cannot be moved, used or equipped until player zones.

Areas:
1) Bastok Metalworks - Elevator going up to 2nd floor has a chance of stopping half way.
Status - Confirmed.
Current Work-Around - Wait on Elevator and it may correct itself after 1-2 attempts. If not a log in/out may be attempted.

2) Windurst - Airship skips boarding window. Goes straight from embark to disembark then timer resets.
Status - Comfirmed.

3) Manaclipper - Boat will sometimes be raised too high or underwater and cannot board. Will also kick you off sometimes even if
you have a ticket.

Party/Alliance:
1) Party - Status bar - When new pc is added to a party or a party member zones into a new area, chance
that the list of party statuses (HP, MP, TP) blacks out and becomes unreadable.
Status - Confirmed.
Current Work-Around - Change of Party Leader, Party Leader changing zones.

2) Party - Player Disappearing from Party List - Occurs upon accepting invite or zoning into a new area.
Player Cannot see party member list nor perform party actions.
Status - Confirmed.
Current Work-Around - Zoning into a new area, typing '/pcmd leave' and reinvite into party.

3) Sync - Party Member Unsynced - Occurs if a party member joins outside of the zone the sync'ed party is
in, or if a sync'ed member leaves the zone the sync'ed party is in while in party and returns to zone.
Status - Confirmed.
Current Work-Around - Wait until party member enters same zone as sync'ed party before inviting them
into party, party member leaves party before moving to another zone.

4) Sync - Sync'ed Party Member's Synced Level Does Not Rise With Party - A chance if a sync'ed party
member dies and is risen, the risen party member's sync will be locked into current level and will not
rise with party. If the party's sync is affected, new party members will join party unsynced.
Status - Confirmed.
Current Work-Around - Party must disband and reinvite members once sync wears off.

5) Sync - Sync Stays After Disband - Chance upon disband of party, a party member does not receive
timer for sync to wear and sync will stay until zoning or logging out.
Status - Confirmed.
Current Work-Around - Zone to new area or log out.

6) Alliance - Alliance List Scrambles Making Party List Inaccurate and Unmanageable - Occurs when
a player is added to a party that is part of an alliance in another zone, or if a player in an alliance
leaves party while in another zone. Makes alliance list scrambled in random placement on right
side of screen, places players in wrong parties, makes others invisible on list and makes it impossible
to invite players into alliance in desired parties and inhibits certain party/alliance commands.
Status - Confirmed.
Current Work-Around - Only invite new party members to an Alliance in same zone. Alliance members
drop from alliance in same zone before leaving zone. If bug occurs, everyone must '/pcmd leave' and
reform respective parties and reform alliance.

7) Alliance - Zone Crash While Dissolving Alliance - If alliance leader dissolves an alliance while a member
of alliance leader's party is in another zone, the zone that the alliance leader is in could crash.
Status - Confirmed.
Current Work-Around - Make sure any party members leaving alliance do so before leaving the zone
that the alliance leader is in. If a party member in alliance leader's party zoned to another area and
alliance leader wants to dissolve alliance the other party leaders must first dissolve their own parties
until alliance leader is the leader of a single party, then it is safe to dissolve alliance.

8) If accepting a party while in another zone with 'looking for party' icon on, the icon will not disappear
until you drop party and remove it manually.
Status - Confirmed.
Work-Around - Don't accept party invite until in the same zone as party leader.


Missions/Quests:
1) A Craftsman's Work - After killing NM 'Decurio I-III', and clicking on the ??? for 'Altepa Polishing Stone'
will spawn 'Decurio I-III' once again instead of receiving key item 'Altepa Polishing Stone'.
Status - Confirmed.
Work-Around - Have the one who needs the quest spam the ??? while someone else kills Decurio I-III.

2) Transformations - Clicking on Imperial Whitegate does not initiate cutscene.


Job Abilities/Spells/Traits:
1) Pld - Cover - Cover cannot redirect damage from target behind Paladin to the Paladin.
Status - Confirmed.
Work-Around - None.

2) Bst - Pet - Slimes do not gain their innate damage resistance upon charming.
Status - Confirmed.
Work-Around - None.

3) Bst - Pet - Pets movement speed is 20% slower than normal.
Status - Confirmed.
Work-Around - None.

4) Bst - Pet - Mnk job monsters like Mandragoras do not attack twice per round while charmed.
Status - Confirmed.
Work-Around - None.

5) Bst - Pet - Charmed Dhalmel pets using Healing Breeze does not affect party members, the combat log shows HP restored
but no HP is actually restored.
Status - Confirmed.
Work-Around - None

6) Nin - 2hr - Mijin Gakure does damage as intended, but always says 0 in battle log.
Status - Confirmed.
Work-Around - None.

7) Thf - Evasion Bonus - Evasion Bonus trait not added to total player evasion.
Status - Debunked.
Work-Around - N/A Checkparam is giving false values.

8) Blu - 2hr - Blu 2hr (Azure Lore) is usable but misfires under certain conditions.
Status - Confirmed.
Work-Around - Unknown.

9) Cor - Random Deal - Random Deal is unusable.
Status - Confirmed.
Work-Around - None.

10) Pup - Attachments - Equipping attachments has no effect/does not change puppet.
Status - Confirmed.
Work-Around - None.

11) Pup - Maneuvers - Cannot use Maneuvers on puppet.
Status - Confirmed.
Work-Around - None.

12) Pup - Skills - Puppetmaster's automations have 0 skill levels.
Status - Confirmed
Work Around - Deactivate and reActivate puppet can solve the issue.

13) Pup - Sills - Puppetmaster's automations do not receive skillups even though skill is not capped.
Status - Confirmed.
Work Around - Deactivate and ReActivate puppet can solve the issue.

14) THF - Trick Attack will not work on uneven terrain.
Status - Confirmed.
Work-Around - Get on level ground with trick partner and mob.

Job Merits:
1) Cor - Quick Shot Recast - Does not work.
Status - Troubleshooting in Progress.

2) Blm - Elemental Seal Recast - Does not work.
Status - Confirmed.

3) Thf - Aura Steal does not dispel monster's buff nor transfer it to player.
Status - Confirmed.

NMs/HNMs:


General Monsters:
1) Claim - If a player/party dies with one or more outside players on their claimed
monster(s) hate table, the monsters will remain claimed to the player/party.
Status - Confirmed.
Work-Around - All outside players on claimed monster(s) hate table must either zone, log out, or die.

2) Claim - A monster will lose claim (turn yellow) if player switches and commits an action on another monster.
Status - Unconfirmed.
Work-Around - Unknown

3) Pathway Collision Fault - Some pathways have incorrect Collision values resulting in monsters 'dipping' either through the ceiling or
falling through the floor in some areas as they pass them.
Status - Confirmed.
Work-Around - Take note of locations where behavior occurred and avoid those areas or pulling monsters to those areas that may
affect people below.

4) Monster Hate List - If player agroes a monster, the player is put on the active hate table instead of passive.
Status - Unconfirmed.
Work-Around - Unknown.

5) Mnk Job Monsters - Have near Hundred Fist attack speed and each hit does as much damage as single
hit monsters. Was once fixed now broken again.
Status - Confirmed.

6) Brd Job Monsters - Casting range for all songs still 20 yalms even though ranges should be same as
players.
Status - Confirmed.

7) Alkyoneus - Chance Alkyoneus will spawn with continuous attack state. This seems to be caused by debuffs placed on it
before it dies. Instead of respawning with clean stats, it will have the debuffs from before, then when they wear off instead
of having base stats it will add the deducted stats unto it's current stats.
Status - Confirmed.
Work-Around - Make sure debuffs wear off before death.

Sky:
1) Ullikummi - ??? - Diorite may spawn Ullikummi despite Ullikummi being a lotto pop as of 5MAR2017.
Status - Ullikummi is spawned by lotto only.

Dynamis:
1) Dynamis Crash - If a party/alliance is formed outside of Dynamis before entering, there is a high chance
that the zone will crash, causing members who have already entered to R0 out of the game (and upon
entering will experience a black screen followed by being kicked out and loss of entry for the day).
Status - Confirmed.
Work-Around - Form party/alliance after entering Dynamis and only invite those within the zone.

2) Xarcabard - Multiple instances of Kindered NM, Duke Gomory, spawning from normal statues.
Status - Confirmed.

3) Dynamis - If viewing map while in any dynamis, there is a chance of client crashing.


BCNM/KSNM/ENM/OWNM:
1) BCNMs - Cancelling a BCNM window after trading orb will cause the orb to be consumed.
Status - Confirmed.
Work-Around - Do not trade your orb until you are ready to go in.

2) ENMs - Currently the only ENM that works is 'Like the Wind'.
Status - Confirmed.

3) ENMs - Like the Wind - Race Runner does not run, but behaves like a normal Eft aside from it's
unique spell list.
Status - Confirmed.

4) ENMs - Like the Wind - Upon completion the cutscene from CoP mission 'Three Paths, Where
Messengers Gather' plays.
Status - Confirmed.


Limbus:
1) Temenos, 2nd Floor: End chest will not spawn.
Status - Confirmed.
Work-Around - Ignore all elementals and kill carbuncle then the two light elementals in that
order.


Equipment:
1) Drg - AF legs that grants wyvern HP does not do so.
Status - NQ does not, HQ will.

2) Drg - the AF2 body 'Wyrm Mail" does not transfer sub job abilities to wryvern.
Status - Confirmed.

3) Sam - Artifact Head BCNM is currently unavailable.
Status - Confirmed.

4) Smn - Smn AF1 Artifact Equipment do not transfer bonuses to Summons.
Status - Confirmed.

5) Smn - Smn AF2 Relic Head's 'Blood Pact ability delay -3' effect does not work.
Status - Confirmed.

6) Flame Boomerang - 'Additional Effect: Fire Damage' does not work.
Status - Confirmed.

7) Wind Spear - 'Additional Effect: Wind Damage' does not work.
Status - Confirmed.

8) Lockheart - 'Additional Effect: Dispel' does not work.
Status - Confirmed.

9) Mythril Heart - 'Added Effect: Dispel' does not work.
Status - Confirmed.

10) Balmung - 'Added Effect: Dispel' does not work.
Status - Confirmed.

11) Throwing Weapons - 'Additional Effect: Any' does not work.
Status - Confirmed.

12) Uggalepih Pendant - Grants latent regardless of mp %.
Status - Broken for Blm, working as intended for other jobs.

13) Annihilator - Aftermath from weaponskill 'Coronach' does not give -20 enimity aftermath.
Status - Confirmed.

14) Octave Club - Does not work.
Status - Confirmed.

15) Rune Chopper - Does not work.
Status - Confirmed.

16) Berserker's torque - Does not work correctly.
Status - Confirmed.

17) Kabrakan's axe - 'Additional Effect: Slow' Does not work.
Status - Confirmed.

18) Purgatory Mace - 'Additional Effect: Stun' Does not work.
Status - Confirmed.

Due to the nature of Missions and Quests affecting individuals differently, they must be resolved on a case by case basis.

I had asked in a different thread, but what is the chance some of this stuff gets fixed ever? I started playing on Nasomi 2 years ago and a lot of these issues were around at that time. I know people have said Nas doesn't read the forums, but I have to assume he plays the game? Why would he even run and maintain the server if he doesn't lol. Surely he's aware of all of these things already?

A year ago there were at least some working bcnm fights, now none work?

There are key things concerning how, if, when things are worked on here.

1) This is a hobby for him and not a paid service. What he chooses to fix/break, in what order, is up to his discretion.
2) As a hobby he prefers to find the answer to bugs on his own and not simply pull solutions from somewhere. Also, due to unique coding, solutions that might have worked on other private servers would not be compatible here.
3) For specific issues regarding missions and quests, it is best to contact him via IRC (which is currently down) and spam your question throughout the day between 9amEST - 5pmEST in hopes he sees and decides to help you if no one else can. Key to this one is persistence.
4) Finally, Nasomi is obsessed with stopping exploiters/botters/RMT. Every time an exploit has been reported and confirmed he must stop all his current projects to deal with the problem until a solution for it has been found. Since there are players who continuously come back (via VPNs and such) and attempt other vulnerabilities, it consumes the vast majority of his time.

Keep in mind it's just one man who is running all the servers as well having to play the role as GM and site Admin.

Make sure you contact Nasomi via IRC during business hours. Since the IRC webpage is offline you'll have to get on the IRC via a program. Look at the IRC thread for further instruction.

To ask for help getting this NM operational again on IRC 1) state the quest related (A Craftsman's Work), link to the quest (http://ffxiclopedia.wikia.com/wiki/A_Craftsman%27s_Work) and the step that the progress stops (Clicking on the ??? at H-8 in Eastern Altepa after Decurio I-III dies, respawns Decurio I-III instead of receiving KI 'Altepa Polisihing Stone'.).

We completed this quest (DRG AF1) for a linkshell mate a week or two ago. Ended up killing the NM ~7 times before he got the key item. What worked was dragging it away a little bit from the ???, and having the DRG spam click the ??? as the NM was on its final 10% hp. I believe he got the KI right after it died before the corpse despawned.

Great list Lyle, thank you for putting it together. One thing to note about the "General Monsters" category, item #4:

4) Rng/Nin Job Monsters - Ranger and Ninja job monsters' range attacks hit much harder than intended
and ignores thf's 'Perfect Dodge".
Status - Confirmed.


Perfect dodge was never able to dodge ranged attacks. It has always been "melee attacks only".

Bug report:
1.Weapon skill macro doesn't work. like /ws Fast Blade <t>
2.2h skill macro doesn't work. for example /ja Perfect Dodge <me>
3.Character will be locked when you ask npc for crafting material in crafting guild.
4.Lots of npcs still saying wrong message when doing quest as Darkstar server.
5.Goblins wear black armor suit should give thunder Crystal ,not Fire Crystal.
6.Sandy Nation mission"Bat hunt" when u bring back "Orcish Mail Scales" to guard,he said "I don't want this" and the event won't happen.Now what? delete my char and start from begining and don't accept this mission ?lol
there is already one guy reported this bug in 2016.viewtopic.php?t=883
And it seems it's still not fixed.

i'll keep searching.
