Hello all!

I finally got Ashita/FFXI to run and got most of my resolution problems solved. However, once I am in the game there are several problems.

1) No macro bar appears on my screen. Maybe I remember it wrong, but I remember it always being on the screen when you start a new character in retail. I can find no way to access it either. Any ideas?

2) No matter what resolution I try (menu, background, etc all match) the screen appears "stretched" from side to side .... not sure what is going on there.

3) Keyboard map in Controls (Wiki) does not match what happens in game. I can find no way to fix that.

I would appreciate any suggestions. Thanks so much. :D

I'm not in game so just going from memory, but I believe all these options are in the config menu.

1) There should be an option to lock the macro bar so it always displays. I remember seeing this option when I was adjusting my setup the other day.

2) Sounds like you just need to adjust the "Aspect" ratio to better match the screen you are running. This is also under the config menu, I believe under "display". Mine defaulted to 4:3 and just needed to move it up to 16:9 for a better image.

3) You can adjust the keyboard controls from "Full" to "compact" or vice versa, whatever way you like best.
