At the end of CoP 2-3: Distant Beliefs, returning to town and talking to Justinius triggers a cutscene that consistently froze for me many times. I had to close out XI manually, since the dialogue in the CS was no longer able to progress. I was able to get past the CS after booting Nasomi in a different resolution, whereas booting in 1080p fullscreen caused the CS to freeze |

I think I remember this happening to me also awhile back. I had to @release or take a screenshot to unfreeze myself from CS after that everything worked fine. I'm not sure what can be done about CS glitchs/hang ups like this as I remember there being several on this server. |

I guess its a small price to pay for the golden age of XI ... At least ways around the bugs exist, it would be a huge bummer getting permastuck |

Super old bump, but running on the 1080 and using the screenshot method worked fine. Wouldn't have found this solution wasn't for a google search for CoP mission 2-3 |

You could also play on 30 fps instead of 60. 60 breaks things a lot. |
