yep, confirmed, you have to read the note in Zeruhn Mines, it won't work unless you read the note in there for some reason lol. Then you can get that mantle!

If you read the letter that Tami gives you when you talk to the miner he is supposed to ask you to get meat jerky and give it to Tami making the quest no longer repeatable but giving a Rabbit Mantle. This currently doesn't work and even if you read the letter he will ask you to tell his wife he got the message and you obtain 10 gil. |

Did you check your inventory? Usually when you get a quest reward, the text says you got Gil, but you actually get the item. |

The quest dialog is all incorrect, but yes it gives you 10 gil not an item. |

Anyone that may have found this while searching. This quest is doable for the rabbit mantle. You have to read the note in your Key Items when you zone into Zeruhn Mines. For some reason every time you zone all your key items get marked as unread. |
