Hi Guys,

a friend of mine was having an issue swapping between retail and Nasomi so I figured I'd post my findings.

the tl;dr is having a registry backup of your retail installation.

below are some default registry settings and scripts (assuming you are playing on a 64 bit OS)

assuming you installed Nasomi to C: putting the below pastebin content into a file and give it an extension of .bat or .cmd will register the DLLs for you (might have to run as admin)
https://pastebin.com/tNtu7imW

and this is for retail on a 64 bit OS
https://pastebin.com/MfePEqf0

as for the registry (please bear in mind these are defaults)
Retail: https://pastebin.com/nSQC9gSd
Nasomi: https://pastebin.com/2KwWY24q

If you are having issues feel free to post here and I'll do my best to help.

Aka, to play on Nasomi, run NasomiReg.reg and NasomiDLL.bat attached here: http://www.filedropper.com/nasomireg & http://www.filedropper.com/nasomidll

To play on Retail, run RetailReg.reg and RetailDLL.bat attached here: http://www.filedropper.com/retailreg & http://www.filedropper.com/retaildll

These files assume the C drive as your install drive for each. If you used a different one, edit all the files replacing C: with D: or whatever drive you installed to.

These files also assume 64 bit OS.

Run the files as admin.

Can I get a new link for these downloads? Clicking on them now brings me to an empty page, and I am currently unable to play the retail version.

Thank you.

The pastebins above should work just fine.

Don't need to do the registry part anymore, though.

Hey guys,

So i'm not too smart with the file swapping jargon goin on here. I think this might be my issue, so I can't login to the retail version. everytime POL closes and the game SHOULD load up to the character select main menu, playonline reappears at the "word to our players" or w/e screen. Can you be a little more specific with what we're doing with these files and what i should be seeing. if this is a separate issue than what i have, then fml i guess lol.

Edit: So i found all those .dll files in my original Playonline folder etc. and i even ran the registry .bat. but playonline still will not move past "a word to our players" would this just mean a separate issue?

Edit the Nasomi or RetailDLL.bat files to match your file locations.
