This is probably already known (sorry if it is), but in the boneworkers guild of Windurst, there are 2 NPC's you can talk to to get information about crafting supplies. If you click this option and choose "Amateur" , nothing happens and you can't do anything until you close out the game. |

All recipe NPCs do this. I assume that them not working is partially intentional because I don't think they existed in this era (the freezing is a known issue/side effect) Just use ffxiclopedia to look up synthesis recipes. |
