If you are getting the error code FFXI-3331 follow these steps.

  • Go to main installation folder for FFXI (It should be in C:\Program Files (x86)\PlayOnline\SquareEnix\FINAL FANTASY XI)
  • Delete Vtable.dat
  • Run POL as admin
  • Check files for FFXI (use the drop down menu)-Click File Repair after it is done checking files.

It should be fixed afterwards and you will be able to log in.

In case this is related, we did have an update that was needed (08-MAR-2016) for folks. If you are not running version 30160203_0 you may need to update. Steps are in OPs msg or you can check this forum post. As well as the original notice for details.
