Post subject:  Can't launch game from Ashita
Hey All,

I was using the installer/download package found on the main website. Could not torrent it as the link wasn't working for me.

It came with Ashita Launcher v2, installed the game, had everything working for a day and a half. Ending up dying so I can warp to my homepoint. I seemed to have R0'd and lost connection to the game. Now I can't launch it any more. It prompted me that there is a new launcher available, Ashita v3. That's installed and now I get the below error, now allowing me to launch the game. Any thoughts/suggestions? Trying to Launch Nasomi 1080p (others do not work -- have not tried retail).

There is no "boot.exe" in the ffxi-bootmod folder. Just a pol.exe application.

FIXED. Turns out pol.exe is what I needed in the end.

Used this link to sort it out: viewtopic.php?f=7&t=772
Just updated the boot file to ".\\ffxi-bootmod\\pol.exe" from ".\\ffxi-bootmod\\boot.exe" which some how got adjusted.

Will let Admins/Mods decide if they want to keep this thread or delete it.

Why did you install ashita v3? Go back to 2.

Whatever ashita v3 install you're using doesnt have a boot.exe file in the ffxi-bootmod folder. I don't know what you did and how it broke but it's not there.

edit: pol.exe is potentially an old version of the bootloader. You can delete your own threads.
