I'm currently trying to make my first character and get into the game, but it won't let me past this section of the character creation. The game gets stuck on "Checking Name and Gold World Pass" and then times out. |

Cause: Your character name is already taken on the server Fix: Re-launch the game. Use a new name. You must relaunch the game if you get stuck on this error. All subsequent attempts to use the same name will get stuck at this point until you re-launch the game. Cause: You took to long creating your character. Fix: Re-launch the game and re-create it. Now that you know what to do, it should be quick. |
