Got further this time, I create my character then run into Error Code 3313. On the off chance that it was a misprint in the forum topic I ran through the instructions in the forum topic about Error Code 3331, to no avail. Also researched a bit more, found the Wiki version of the install instructions, might want to link to them from the webpage, they are far more complete. Tried moving Ashita to the directory of my FFXI install, same error. |

TL;DR - Need more info on the error you are getting, like a screen capture or text. Also steps you have taken. Quote: FFXI-3313 error (Error message is in Japanese) This error means that you are trying to create a character with an invalid name. This can be due to the name being taken by another character, containing an invalid character in it (such as a number or underscore), or because the name was for some reason or another reserved by the devs at SE. Ah ha! That is the number for this one. Can you confirm? Also to help troubleshoot this further what name have you used? Have you tried logging out and back in completely after the 3rd attempt? How many characters are on this account already? Is this a new account? Are you having this problem with one or more devices? |
