Post subject:  Does Style lock work here?

I dont think I am applying it wrong since this was a new hobby of mine to collect armor and style lock in the retail version. Just started playing nasomi for a couple days and remembered to try style lock. The function is selectable but doesnt apply.

I searched and only found in one thread that this was disabled. Is that still the case by this date? Has it worked for anybody recently? Thanks in advance :)

Yeah, it was unfortunately exploited by some people so Nas disabled it.

i really hate this stupid people, its because of them that we loose a lot of things that were enabled before.

how petty can someone be to exploit this.

As the only RDM (Healer) in a group with a BRD, this is the most frustrating thing ever. Im not making a separate row of macros just to heal/buff 1 person -.-

You can use <stpt> or <stal> with your macros and gear changes shouldn't matter, and you can manage one set of spell macros still. Although, I guess that limits you to party/alliance use only. You're targeting the name in the list, rather than the player directly, so you should not lose focus when casting. It'll put a cursor next to your party list (names / hp bars) and you just cycle to the person you want with arrow keys and enter to start the cast.

Sorry if I misunderstood the meaning of your post and this has nothing to do with what you were talking about.

Ive tried using <st> to select target but it doesn't help. I can cursor someone and they can still gear swap before i execute.

i believe you can still go to ingame config and set PC armor display->static. no its not aesthetic but yes it is functional

If this is true, im all over that.

Thanks

<stal> doesn't stop targetting when they blink.

With <st> you are getting a cursor over the player itself still like you were tab targeting, but <stpt> and <stal> the cursor is targeting players from the party window. <stal> does the same thing as <stpt> with the additional ability to cycle through alliance members, but should still work for standard parties, so really no reason not to just use it in case you will be in alliances. Not sure if there's a good way to help with targeting blinking players while PL'ing outside of a party, though.
