Post subject:  New Player - Resolution Problem

Hi,
I am new to this server. I have created my character and everything, but I am having issues getting my resolution right. My screen is stretched and my menu is half way off the screen as a result. I can fix Aspect Ratio, but it doesn't help my menus being off screen. My PC's screen resolution 1920x1018. No resolution I try in NasmoiXI Config sticks... it keeps defaulting to 1600x900.

Help please?

Thanks, this worked, except I can't get the UI settings to stay. The overlay setting keeps reverting to the same as background and main, making my UI too small. I need it at a lower resolution so I can see it.

Edit what? I'm using the Nasomi Config. I also can't unzip the 7z file for the fps issue. I have integrated Intel and Geforce graphics cards, but the file will not allow access with 7 Zip. It's evidently running on the Intel. My Geforce Experience isn't listing in my games. It lags, or stutters, quite a bit.

... The nasomi config is overridden by ashita unless you use -1 in ashita. That's mentioned in the thing I linked you. Don't use the nasomi config to edit resolutions!

I don't know what you mean by "allow access with 7 zip". You should be able to extract it just fine and then move the files into the location mentioned.

7 Zip can't unzip it. It says access is denied to the files in the 7z download.

How do I use Ashita to edit UI? I have no idea how to use that program or access any setting with it. I only know the one resolution choice when logging in.

I don't even know where to put a -1 in the Ashita properties tabs. That instructions are not descriptive enough as to exactly where to put that. Only the General tab even has a place that I could add that and I'm not sure that is where they mean.

I'm sorry I sound so stupid, but I have never used this program before. It's completely foreign to me.

Right click the config you're trying to launch and select edit.

I don't know why you can't unzip the files.

My son helped me with the resolution problem. Evidently, for the fps issue, I need those files in a normal Windows zip file. I don't know why 7 Zip can't open those files either, unless it wasn't actually zipped with 7 Zip. Programs can be pernickity that way. It's 3 files. If anyone has them and can zip with Windows and upload them, that would probably work. I am assuming the files make the game run on the Geforce instead of the Intel?
