Hey guys so I'm trying to download the game from this site and the direct download just isnt working and the torrent shows no seeds. If anyone could provide me a mirror or help with technical ideas on how to play over tether please help me out. thx! |

You will have problems playing on most tethered phone internet. Just use a normal connection. |

Never experienced any problems using a tethering connection and im playing half the day over it for almost 2 years now. Both works, WIFI and USB connections. USB connections seems to work better cause you skip problems with the WIFI connection between your phone and laptop/pc. Also my pc has no WIFI module so there's a limiting factor for me. All you need to worry is to have an appropriate driver on your laptop/pc for you phone. I have been using three different android phones so far and had no problems setting them up and establishing a tethered connection. Just google instructions for tethering connections for your phone. It's kinda similiar for all android devices though there can be differences due to manufacturers and their proprietary GUIs. |

Many phone providers block the ports used to play on nasomi. |

I've played tethered plenty of times without issue. However I wouldn't be surprised if the phone blocked torrenting or ftp traffic. They most likely are blocking the protocol's, not the ports. |

The Author didnt give any location and from my understanding his question was kinda open regarding that. I can just speak for providers in germany and non of them block the traffic for the nasomi server nor the download torrent from nas. One-sided statements doesnt help anyone imo. The Author should just give it a try and see how far he can go with a tethered connection. Nothing wrong with trying. |

Hyperion.. re-read his post. He DID try. And it didn't work. Every week some guy on mobile IP has the same issue in naschat. |

It's a technical issue when your phone (and here the phone manufactorers in association with the provider) blocks the connection. He could try to use a different phone or get a 3rd party app for establishing a tethering connection and might get lucky to get it going. He could also get his phone rooted and let it run with a different OS version - might solve it too. It's some work and if he really wants to play here, he will try it out. I'm just giving options on how he can solve the issue cause he was asking for technical ideas no more, no less. |
