Post subject:  I really don't know how to play
Hello all! Im starting to play today but i dont know how to move properly on the map, i dont know how to open my inventary, i dont know nothing :shock: I feel really bad for this. I played FFXIV:ARR but dont understarnd how to play this one. Really sad :(

Any tips? any guides for Newbies?


PS: Sorry for my bad english i'm from Spain :(

Hey. Dont feel bad mate, FFXI control is just awkward since it was designed with PS2 in mind. Which makes this game is, IMO, best played with controller. Unlike FFXIV where a lot of modern, standard control were implemented.

Minus (-) on numpad to open menu. That's about as much as I know keyboard wise.

welcome! if i remember correctly,

WASD to move character UP LEFT DOWN RIGHT
Arrow keys or by right-clicking mouse and moving to MOVE CAMERA

you might have to adjust 'invert' style in the menu (-) key under 'Config' > 'Mouse/Cam'

ESC key to go back, TAB to target SPACE to message
