I'm playing on a 1920x1080 monitor and I'd like to play fullscreen windowed. I've tried just about every combination of resolution settings I can think of but cannot figure out to play on a widescreen monitor without the game just stretching the 3d world sideways to fill the screen. Is this a limitation of the game or am I missing something? |

There's also a configuration setting for resolution at the first screen before character selection. |

I take it that 21:9 will never be an option for widescreen? |

I cannot figure out how to fix PC/mob names, but everything else looks fine. Maybe the very edges of the screen can look funky since ffxi naturally does a fisheye type thing on the camera when zooming. |

Unfortunately there isn't a way to change the aspect ratio of pc/mob names. Even on 16:9 they are stretched significantly. The only way to get them to be the right size is to play on 4:3. |
