Hi, was wondering if buying gil is against the rules, since players like insanegain are rank 1 in all blue items and clearly RMT

Yes, buying gil is against the rules.

Nas has automatic systems in place to detect players who buy or sell gil. Nevertheless, if you have strong enough suspicion you could report a player to nasomi through naschat for dealing in RMT. Take note that a new player with some friends already on the server could easily be in the situation of the player mentioned here.

uhm... just because i really dont like missions, doesnt mean i buy gil... it means i know how what im doing since ive played for years... many years, since 04 in retail. so please dont smear my name... also blues in dunes dude. they are a mere 10k 40k. like really dude? dont hate.

So your criteria for a gilbuyer is someone wearing +1 level 20 gear, lol
