Ok, it appears that Tiger Shark is not in the game. Can anyone confirm whether this is correct? I am 98.6 and trying to complete my rank up to expert. I purchased the Angler's Almanac key item (prerequisite for catching it) with guild points and spent a few hours with all the typical setups looking for one, to no avail. Ordinarily, I'd just keep at it. But, Thubu Parohren's text to initiate the Expert rank up has a blank where "tiger shark" should appear. And, there is no AH history for tiger shark. So, I am wondering if it exists at all in Nasomi. Any inf would be appreciated. |

Craft levels 101-110 is not era and does not exist here, which goes the same for Tiger Sharks. |

Thank you for the insight. And, now that I have looked at the ffxiclopedia history for angler's almanac and tiger shark, I see that they were added in 2012. Oh well, at least it was only 20,000 GP. |

None, because Expert rank (AKA levels 101-110) never existed back then. |

So, it's not possible to achieve Rank 10; which would mean that prior to 2012 players were limited to Rank 9 as their highest Fishing Rank. That seems odd. So, the current cap is Fishing Skill 100, Fishing Rank 9? |
