As title states, I ran CCleaner on my PC and now when I log in I get chat spam of [ADDON] (FPS) Failed to call event 'render', error:... etc. etc. I is spamming that line to infinity. It also "forgot" all my settings like inverted x-axis camera, chat log config etc. Was all this info saved in a temp file? I tried a system restore but that didn't fix it. Any clue on how I should proceed? |

I re-installed, game works, but Ashita Addons are still borked- here is a pic of the spam i am getting. Don't know enough about coding to know whats wrong. https://imgur.com/69gfh9o |

I don't want to be that guy, but you really shouldn't use registry cleaners. Besides, Microsoft doesn't recommend registry cleaners. There is no need for them. Its kind of like snake oil. If you have Windows 10, it's actually much worse for the computer now. Did you do a backup of your registry before cleaning? You should try recovering. Otherwise, you may have to re-install Windows now as some things might be screwed up with registry now if you don't have a backup before cleaning. |

Forget when I last scanned the registry with CC... seem to recall it dumped the changes in .reg files with a date/time naming scheme. Forget where they were put... may be in your documents or at the root of the system drive. Check the drop menus to see if there is a recovery option. May get lucky with the SFC if it is just a matter of broken DirectX/.Net registrations and such: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/hel ... le-checker Alternatively, could try disabling/enabling the legacy DirectX and .NET features, possibly even do a manual download/repair install of the runtimes. May be less time consuming than going through the in-place windows upgrade process. |
