I need to ask how does the game support forum work, I mean you can post a problem and other users reply to all typical common and/or work arounds etc etc but what if you are genuinely glitched/stumped is there anyway to contact nasomi or any other gm and request something fixed in the database? My problem with PLD boots is still here, for months I’ve been trying, and I’m stuck unable to refish the ordontyrannus up. I was unable to finish the quest and told to drop the fish because I did two cutscenes in the wrong order (common error). I have redone the cs’s in every order possible, even traded one specific bug to the boy and used that one but it still won’t fish up. Other people had the problem and it fixed, but I have pages and pages of screens saying you didn’t catch anything, I’ve gone off and levelled fishing to 100 in the meantime, tried everything suggested here, but hours spent trying to fish it up. Can I just request all PLD af quest progress on my alt be reset for Madi? |

How many hours have you tried fishing for it? AFAIK nothing should stop you from being able to fish it up again. |

Quite a few hours, 5 or 6 and maybe a few hundred /fish commands over multiple days spread over a few months, while my alt farms the yagudo and after a couple hours I bailed and tried something different. Other people trying including myself first time fished it up within a few minutes. I don’t know why others can fish it up again and I can’t!

Finally worked out how to fix this, after three months and hours and hours trying to refish the Ordonotyrannus up after doing the cutscenes wrong and having that fishing quest blocking me, and then trying to explain it’s not happening and completely broken, I’d had enough, so whatever you do never drop it after trading it to the kid! What I did was first unlock PLD on my alt.... level it up to 50.... do the af sword.... and then for the boots I fished it up with them after maybe 2 minutes. A lot of effort, a lot of time, but far easier than trying to get support! |

I'm on this quest now and I can't seem to fish up the NM even after following all the steps perfectly. How did you do it the second time for it to work?? |
