Edit: Just noticed I posted this in the wrong forum. Seems to happen a lot during gameplay. Sometimes just standing around. Faulting application name: boot.exe, version: 0.0.0.0, time stamp: 0x5ae93287 Faulting module name: d3d8.dll, version: 6.1.7600.16385, time stamp: 0x4a5bd9a7 Exception code: 0xc0000005 Fault offset: 0x0004bf62 Faulting process id: 0x1b68 Faulting application start time: 0x01d479be278a5809 Faulting application path: C:\Program Files (x86)\NasomiXI\SquareEnix\Ashita\ffxi-bootmod\boot.exe Faulting module path: C:\Windows\system32\d3d8.dll Report Id: f360e9dd-e5b8-11e8-976b-e03f491714f7 Troubleshooting section mentions deleting d3d8.dll and d3d8.ini from the bootmod folder, yet those were never in the folder to begin with. Would appreciate any help. |

A d3d8.dll crash is rather generic. Try updating your graphics drivers, or rolling them back perhaps? Is it crashing on any particular trigger? For example: opening another program? |

Just having the game up and running while I was on my tablet and it would crash. I did a fresh install and updated my drivers. Hopefully this works. |
