Post subject:  Is Nasomi's playerbase growing?
I joined Nasomi in January of 2017 and played very briefly. It was mostly for nostalgia's sake. I hadn't played XI since 2006 or so and I just wanted to remind myself what this wonderful MMO felt like. I recently hopped back on for the same reason and it seems like there are more people playing on this server now. Has anyone kept track of what the population growth over time has been like for Nasomi? Is the community slowly growing, or has it plateaued? I swear a year ago there were almost half as many people here.

Out current growth rate is higher than last year's winter (this time we have Ninja streaming instead of just a Kotaku article about the server). Pop did plateau over the summer, but it always does.

Overnight dips are now higher than 1 year ago's peaks - and we have about 2x as many players on at peak instead of 3x at peak a year ago. This means we have more players from all timezones, too.

Overall things are going great. I keep telling nas we might hit 2k by the end of the year.. we'll see. If that happens, we'll have exploded to 5x the peak since last year...

Wow, thanks, Nabutso! This is precisely the data I was looking for, and also the answer I was hoping to get. According to FFXIAH (https://www.ffxiah.com/database), some of the least populated servers in the retail game, such as Cerberus, barely have more than 3k players. If Nasomi hits 2k soon that's getting up there.

Note what the stats you linked represent - "Active" refers to unique characters seen in the last 30 days, so basically "the people who are still playing this month".

Nas had over 10,000 unique logins in the past 30 days before this recent bump. We've grown about 10% at least since then, so we're probably closer to 11,000 30 day logins now, which places us at #2, below Asura.

This is amazing, I had no idea about the ff11 fanfest or ninja streaming, I just was looking for a good mom and nothing matched my love for 11 and i stumbled here. Ive been playin for a few days now and I love what you guys are doing. Thank you so much!
