My brother had the corsair die as well and his quest was completed on saturday. Cutscene for him worked a few min ago and he unlocked the job.

I really don't get it. i'm doing the exact same thing but no success so far.
Did he throw away the first die?
Did he receive another one ?

Nope he didnt throw it out. We both did the same thing and he got the cut scene and i didnt.

Same here, still doesn't work. Redid the entire thing and still nothing

Make sure you are clicking the Rock Slab in the back of the cove and not the ??? that is before it on the rock. Also, make sure you don't have the corsair dice in your inventory. I did this and it worked.

I did not have the dice in my inventory, I tried it with both. Rock slab just opens the door up again for me. This may have something to do with the Optional cutscene that I triggered after the quest was completed the first time? I don't know if that has anything to do with it

Yup i did the same as well. After i had finished the quest i triggered the cut scene in Whitegate.

It worked for me.
Went back to talacca cove, clicked the ???, got the cutscene again, job unlocked.

Update : it worked for me now.

All i did was wait 1 earth day, go back and try again.
No need to click the ??? in Talacca Cove.
Just click on the Rock Slab.
It doesn't matter if you're holding the Corsair Die with you.

COR unlocked !
