Hello! New to this forum and I am having a friend come over for a mini-lan on friday. I was wondering, cause i read somewhere you can't play from the same IP as it is considered against the rules, if me and my friend can play from the same network in my house or will we get banned/jailed for this? So it's me on my computer and him on his but from the same network and household. Thanks in advance |

You can play on the same network no problem, IP banning is more if you're multiboxing HELM stuff. However you might run into issues if you all log in at the same time, so it's probably best to stagger them. |

Ok i hope so! Because i'm reading the rules and it's not very clear. Since he usually plays from his house and network and will now log on to my network with his character. Not sure if that applies to this: Account Sharing • Account sharing is not permitted in any way. Your character is yours, and yours alone. • Violating this rule will link your character with another IP that does not belong to you. • If a character from that IP performs an action resulting in discipline, your characters will also be subject to the same punishment, up to and including loss of character/account. It's a bit confusing, i just don't want issues or any problems. |

If you aren't sharing, you aren't doing anything wrong. Playing on the same network is perfectly fine. |

My GF is trying to log in on my network with me being already logged in on my PC and she black screens every time she tries to log in on her laptop via WiFi |

Try restarting your net. |
