I ran the batch in admin mode and it worked.

Hi, I have two versions of FFXI installed. The retail version is from Steam. I have edited the retaill.dll and nasomi.dll batches to have the correct paths to register the dlls. I verified that the dlls are in the correct folder and have the good names (on the steam version they added NA or EU after some dll names). I can play on Nasomi but if I run the retail.dll and try to connect to the retail version I can reach the FFXI page with the "play" button (so all my credentials have been accepted and I passed the playonline viewer I suppose?). But after that the window closes and reopens at the same stage. So I can click on play to enter the game but that's all. I have flushed my dns but it doesn't change anything. Did anyone have this issue before? I'm pretty sure I forgot something. Best regards, Nam |

Sounds like your retailDLL.bat isn't configured properly, or, did you run it as admin? |
