| Post subject: | Unable to play concurrently on the same local network |
Hi, I have a couple of friends that are trying to play from the same house (one router). When one has been logged in to the game for a while and the second attempts to log in, the one that has been logged in starts to d/c. Attemps to log back in put the player in the black "downloading info" screen state until they are timed out. Any idea why this is happening? Any suggestions on what we could try? |

What kind of network are we talking? Can you try putting one of you into DMZ or something and see if this helps? Most consumer routes have this kind of mode -- https://www.google.com/search?q=dmz+mod ... e&ie=UTF-8 if you can put them on a seperate VLAN this might help. Post back with your findings. |

Thanks for the reply! I don't think it's any kind of special network. We don't know too much about this kind of thing. I bet they just picked the basic router settings when they set it up. I will see if we can figure out the VLAN setup the next time I'm over there. I'm sorry for the lack of information at this time. I will reply when I have more info. |
