So I've done some searching and there are guides on gil and gameplay. I still see a lot of people having not really issues but let's just call them inconveniences that can be remedied rather easily in the in-game settings. If anyone else has anything they'd like to add I'll keep regularly updating this.

Auto Sort
Items stacking up on you, clogging your inventory? Automatically sort them! Open your menu, go to Config. (Hit menu twice if you weren't aware of the second menu) Go to Gameplay (First option) and on the bottom you'll see Inventory. Change this to on and your inventory will automatically stack things as you get them now.

Log Windows
Tired of seeing your chat buried in combat info?
Open your menu, go to Config. Go to Windows/Shared. I personally like 2 logs on top of each other, this is done by changing Multi-window to Vertical. Horizontal will place them side-by-side.

Now that you have 2 windows, if you chose Vertical you'll notice they're huge. Let's change that. Open your menu. Config/Windows/Window 1 and Window 2. I find setting Maximum lines displayed to 4 for both of them is best in my opinion. Change this to how you'd prefer for each one.

Status Icon Timers, AoE Radius

Open your menu, go to Config/Misc. 3. Second from the bottom will be Timer Display. Turn this on. Now you will have a timer on your status icons such as Signet, Protect, Poison, etc.
In this window is the Area Display option. WHMs and BRDs will like this to be on as it will show you a radius (Not 100% accurate iirc) showing how far your AoE spells/songs will reach.

Text commands
Addons
/addon load or /addon unload

/addon load recast | This one is very nice. When you use a skill or spell the recast time will popup on your screen. Good for spells and abilities such as Provoke, Utsusemi, etc.
/addon load tparty | Used to be on by default for me but after updating it's off by default. Shows TP for self and party members beside MP gauge.
/partyinfo showtp | Can be used in place of tparty or if you're unable to use tparty. Thanks Seliox for this. I didn't know about it, myself.

Ambient lighting - Press F11 or type /ambien7 to toggle lighting. This helps me a lot when it's dark with poor vision. Makes paths and things easier to see.

Obviously there are tons of other settings but these will ease your experience here greatly.
(Also, feel free to move this to another forum if necessary mods)

If you can't use the Ashita launcher like me (or add-ons, at least, since you have to bypass the bootloader for Linux to use the legal launcher) you might also be interested in using /partyinfo showtp on as well to get the TP display -- since this is at least one of the addons included.

It's built into the client.

Totally agree. It took me a long time to realize those settings are available. They're very useful, especially those timers.

Hey there, I had been collecting money for a home office chair and avoiding most distractions. One quiet evening I found felix spin while browsing and tested a slot game that looked straightforward. I went through a clear losing streak at the start and nearly stopped, but after raising the bet a bit, I finally hit a rewarding payout. The experience stayed smooth and easy to follow, and the Canada-specific bonuses were a pleasant surprise. I’d recommend it if you like calm but real gameplay.

I check out Fonix Casino and wanted to share my experience with others who might be curious about mobile payment options when it comes to online gaming. To learn more about the latest Fonix Casino bonus offers and mobile-friendly promotions read here. What stood out to me was how straightforward the payment process can be using Fonix, especially when I compared it to other methods that involve entering long card numbers or going through multiple security steps. The explanation I found described how Fonix integrates mobile billing directly into the casino, meaning you can make deposits without needing to use a traditional bank transfer or card. For someone like me who prefers simplicity and speed it felt like a real upgrade. I also liked that the description focused on ease of use and real user experiences rather than just promotional language which made me feel more confident before trying it myself. If you often play on your phone and want a payment method that feels quick and modern then exploring Fonix Casino as an option could make your experience smoother and less stressful than older, more complicated systems.
